Data controller
This website is operated for “Enfes Etliekmek & Çorba Abdullah Usta” by Alper Kağan Avcı, who is the data controller within the meaning of Law No. 6698 for the personal data processed on this site. Postal address: Yaylapınar Mahallesi, Karaman Caddesi No: 628/B, 42000 Meram/Konya. For questions you can call the restaurant: 0537 614 84 19.
What this site does not do
This site has no forms, memberships or accounts, and we do not ask you for your name, phone number or e-mail address. Unless you give your permission, the site sets no cookies, runs no advertising or analytics tool and sends no requests to Google or Meta servers. The hosting provider’s strictly necessary security cookie is the one exception (see “Cookies” below).
Server records
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). To deliver the page to you and to protect the site against attacks, the provider processes your IP address and the technical details of your request (date and time of access, requested page, referring page, browser information) when you open a page. It processes this information on its own systems and under its own privacy policy (the provider’s privacy policy). The provider processes this data outside Turkey, in the countries where its servers are located, mainly the USA; this is a transfer abroad within the meaning of KVKK Article 9. The Personal Data Protection Board has issued no adequacy decision for this transfer. We aim to sign the standard contract announced by the Board with the provider and to notify it to the Authority; this contract has not been signed yet. The safeguards the provider offers are described in its own privacy policy and its data processing addendum. We keep no access logs on a server of our own. Legal basis: the data controller’s legitimate interest, that is, providing the site to you and keeping it secure (KVKK Article 5/2-f). Retention obligations that apply to the provider under its own legislation apply in addition.
Content loaded with your permission
When a page first opens, no request goes to any third-party server; everything, including the fonts and the map image, comes from this site. On your first visit you see a cookie notice at the bottom of the page. If you choose “Accept”, the content below is loaded directly as soon as a page opens. If you choose “Reject” or make no choice, it is not loaded, and a fixed map image served from this site is shown instead of the map. Your consent is the explicit consent needed for this content to process your personal data (your IP address, browser information, our site’s address, cookies) (KVKK Article 5/1). To load the content, your browser sends this data directly to the company concerned, which processes it outside Turkey, in the USA; this is a transfer abroad within the meaning of KVKK Article 9. The Board has issued no adequacy decision for the USA and the Board’s standard contract has not been signed with these companies; the transfer rests on the explicit consent you give after being informed of the risks below (Article 9/6-a). The risks you should know about: your data is processed in a country with rules different from those in Turkey; you may not be able to exercise your KVKK rights there in the same way; these companies may combine the data with your own accounts, if any, and with data they collect from other sites. Rejecting does not stop you from using the site: the menu, opening hours, phone, WhatsApp and directions all work as usual. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with the “Cookie preferences” button at the bottom of the page; withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of processing up to that moment.
- Google Maps: to show our location on an interactive map. Provider: Google LLC (USA). Google privacy policy.
- Instagram: to show our latest posts. Provider: Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA; Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. in Europe). Instagram privacy policy.
You can also open the map for one page view only, regardless of your cookie choice, with the “Load the interactive map” button; pressing it means the same explicit consent for that page view. The map image shown when you have not consented is a picture prepared from OpenStreetMap data and served from this site; no request to any server is made to display it (© OpenStreetMap contributors).
Links to other services
When you click a link to a phone call, WhatsApp, Google Maps, Google reviews, Instagram or (if any) ordering platforms, you leave the site; from then on the privacy policy of the service concerned applies.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies unless you give your permission. Cookies are set only after you choose “Accept” in the notice at the bottom of the page or press the “Load the interactive map” button on the map, and only for the following purposes; the legal basis is your explicit consent (KVKK Article 5/1; the Board’s Guide on Cookie Practices, 2022: non-essential third-party cookies need prior consent):
- Map and Instagram (Google LLC and Meta Platforms): the embedded map and Instagram content may set its own cookies. Which cookies they set and for how long is explained in those companies’ own policies (the links above).
Your choice (enfes-consent-v2) is stored only in your browser’s local storage. It is not a cookie, but it is a
similar technology covered by the Board’s Guide; because the site needs it to remember your preference, no consent is
sought for this record. The record contains only a version number, the date of your choice and your yes/no choice; it
contains nothing that identifies you. You can change it at any time with the “Cookie
preferences” button at the bottom of the page: when you reject, the map and Instagram content is
removed from the page at once. You can delete cookies set earlier by
third parties in your browser settings. Rejecting cookies does not stop you from using the site.
The hosting provider may set a short-lived, strictly necessary technical cookie (for example __cf_bm or cf_clearance) only when it suspects an attack or a bot, to run a security check; no consent is sought for this cookie (the Board’s Guide on Cookie Practices, 2022).
Your rights under KVKK Article 11
By applying to the data controller you can request the following:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if it is, to request information about it,
- To learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom your data is transferred in Turkey or abroad,
- To request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request its deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the Law, and to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
- To object to a result against you that arises from analysis by automated systems,
- To request compensation for the damage if you suffer loss because the data was processed unlawfully.
You can submit your application under KVKK Article 13 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Applications to the Data Controller in writing, as a wet-signed petition (by hand, through a notary or by registered mail with return receipt), to this address: Yaylapınar Mahallesi, Karaman Caddesi No: 628/B, 42000 Meram/Konya. Write “For the attention of the data controller, Alper Kağan Avcı” on the envelope and the petition. Besides written applications, the Communiqué also provides for channels such as registered e-mail (KEP), secure electronic signature and mobile signature; as no KEP or e-mail address has been announced for the data controller, applications are made in writing for now. A phone call does not count as an application; for questions you can call the restaurant: 0537 614 84 19.
Your application must contain your first name, surname, signature, Turkish ID number (your nationality and passport number if you are a foreigner), the address for notifications, your e-mail address and phone number if you have them, and the subject of your request. Your application is answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the reply requires an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged. If you find the reply insufficient or receive no reply within 30 days, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days from the date you learn the reply and in any case within 60 days from the date of your application (KVKK Article 14).
